Kent Miller:  

Life I was born Oct. 27,1957 in Goshen,IN. We moved to Wadsworth in August 1960 due to my dad accepting a job at Wadsworth Junior High School as a history teacher. My kindergarden and 1st grade was at Overlook. I attended Lincoln for my 2nd and 3rd grade and finished my 4th and 5th grade at Overlook. I played the tuba in the High School band all four years including one year at the All Ohio State Fair Boys Band. In 1975 we had the priviledge of marching in the Cotton Bowl parade. After graduating I attended Eastern Menonite College (EMC), Bob Jones University, Akron University, Rosedale Bible Institute, eventually completing my course work at EMC in 1981 with a BS degree in Chemistry. My professional career started in 1979 when I began teaching high school math and science at Berea Christian School in Harrisonburg, VA. I taught there until 1981 and moved to Lancaster, PA for two more years to teach at Faith Menonite High School. I returned to EMC in 1983 and spent the next two years completing another degree in Math Education. In 1985 I returned to Berea Christian School to teach science and math for 13 more years. If any of you ever had Charles Kreider for chemistry in High School you certainly can recall the many demonstrations he did that kept our interest.
