Kerby's Story
After graduating from Watsonville High (class of 1966), I attended Cabrillo and then transfered to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, graduating with a BS in Electronic Engineering 1n 1971. While attending Cabrillo, I met the love of my life Pat Clay (Class of 1967). We married in 1970 and graduated from Cal Poly together in 1971.
We moved to the Bay Area, where I worked for Hewlett Packard for 21 years and we raised two sons. In 1992, I accepted an offer to transfer to Corvallis, Oregon where I live today. Shortly after HP bought Comp...Expand for more
aq (2002), my position was eliminated so I took early retirement and found a Job with Trimble Navigation. I lost Pat to cancer in 2005.
Enough about history!! I'm still having fun working as Business Systems Analyst so I'll probably keep doing that for a few more years. I love living a few miles out of town, surrounded by trees and wildlife -- it's so peaceful! On most Saturdays, I volunteer my time working on a hand-carved carousel in Albany.
