Life
Moved to Tahoe in 2004 for a corporate level ski industry job. Best place in the world to live as far as I'm concerned. The cost of living up here is insane!! That's OK though, at least it keeps the area from being over populated.
I live by myself for the most part. My room mate travels A LOT for work.

xpensive "outing" was when they got spooked outside a coffee house, uprooted the bike rack they were tied too, and drug it across the parking lot, into a BMW..
Workplace
I left my ski industry job about a year ago. I was working a bazillion hours, and didn't have any time left for a personal life. I took a position in the admin office of a construction company. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere, one block from the lake. I can go for a run along the lakeshore during lunch (when my legs and feet aren't broken!!)
