Kerri's Story
We are nearly done with our home remodling. It has been a trip! Our family has grown, we added a great grandson (Tariq) Nov. 07. He is a very inquistive and very loving 15 month old. His mom (Ashley), our oldest granddaughter, will earn her associates in criminal juvenile justice in June. Brittney, 18, is in her first yr at Grand Valley, and loves it. Her first college spring break was spent in Jamaica! Ryan, 16-1/2 is a sophomore and a runner. (those are our daughters three children). Our son, Brian, became a single parent this past yr, a big adjustment. He has his three boys the majority of the time. He's a super dad. Works at Spa...Expand for more
rrow Hosp in Lansing....Jaylen, 11, Hunter, 9-1/2, and Parker, 8-1/2. My husband retired from his business Sept. 07, and is taking a 6 months break........then is looking at being an engineering consultant for aggregate companies, a few, the same ones that were his customers before. Our plans to move north is still in tact, maybe in 3 yrs. I'm still in retail, still do some writing (opinion pages), but hope to soon be starting a 2 yr writing course, on line. When we aren't spending time with our family, our favorite pasttime is spending get away time at our lake property in Wolverine, Mi....that's about 9 miles south of Indian River.
