Kerry's Story
Well, who I thought I would be when I was in high school is very different from who I became. I never had plans on becoming a mother, and I had very strong career goals. Life is full of surprises and I became a mother.......a mother of 5! I did go to college with the goal of becoming an interior designer, but discovered that I had a hard time separating my ideas from what the client wanted, and found that I didn't love all aspects of the business. But in the process I discovered a love for Art History. My plans were to change my direction and studies, but life threw another curve ball and I became sick. I had to quit school for a time with the plans of going back, but for now anyways, that is still on hold. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 endometriosis, then with Fibromyalgia. have any plans for continuing my education at this point. For now I just try nad live my life one day at a time and don't make any plans for the distant future. I have learned that things change all too quickly and now have kids getting ready to head off to college and my focus is on their education now. Maybe one day I will go back, but if I don't i am ok with that now. I am married, we have been together for 11 years this April. We still live in Arizona, in the far west valley. We are very active in our church, Vineyard Church North Phoenix. We have been there for over 18 years now. My husband works as a sound engineer there, and myself and my children work in the children's ministry area. My life is not what I had thought it would be, but there is not much that I would change now!
