Kerry's Story

Life Well, I have had some really good breaks and have enjoyed a full and rich life to this point. I left High Ridge the day after I graduated and moved to a town called Marble Hill in southern Missouri. I went to work for a construction company my Grandfather owned and I learned alot about many things for the next two years as my grandfather was a very wise man and had great patience for a green, wide eyed child who was sure he had all the anwsers. My Parents had moved to Texas and my father had opened a Tattoo studio. He had enjoyed success with other fine art such as sculpture but became facinated with the skin art much to mine and my mothers suprise. Initially, I was disgusted as I didn't understand why anyone would want a Tattoo. To this day, my attitude is much the same though my mind has opened to many things abstract through the years. I, as some of you may remember was talented in several art mediums and my father eventually asked me to come to Texas and take an apprentiship. Reluctlantly I agreed and rapidly mastered the art. At about seven years I opened my own studio and have enjoyed financal security ever since. For some reason I can only describe as a blessing,Tattooing began to become popular amoung the masses as opposed to the fringe society and military in which it had existed for years previous. I now have six employees and don't Tattoo anymore. I am semi retired, writing a novel and searching my soul for new and varied interests. I have been married twice. The first time to a grade school sweetheart named Jeanie who was very talented, intelegent and pretty. We were married at age twenty five and had two boys that have been the light of my life. At the ten year mark my wife fell in love with a good friend of mine and I divorced her after trying everything I knew to win back her heart. I was about thirty three, the kids were young and seemed to adjust as well as could be expected. We were amicable and the children were not exposed...Expand for more
to the drama I've witnessed in similar marriage breakdowns. I met my current wife Tracy, shortly before the break up and her marrige was also in a state of decay. Gradually as we leaned hard on each other for support, we began fall in love. Everyone warned of rebound and the doomsayers forcast a short relationship. Funny, as I sit here (thirteen years later) writing this bio, she is out of town and we have talked at least five times today. Checking in mainly to hear each others voices. She is the love of my life and brought along a boy named Taylor from her previous marrige that is a wonderfully talented and gifted blue eyed blond child that melts the hearts of those he meets. I know he's made my life far richer though we do experience the problems common in step relationships.Tracey is fourteen years younger than I and in addition to being extremely bright and multi talented, she has won several beauty contests, and is just simply more woman than I would have ever drempt possible and certainly more than I ever deserved. But, like I said, I've had some really good breaks. a few, like her, truely phenomenal. Tracey and I share many interests not the least of which is traveling, and through the years have traveled Europe extensively really getting to know even the back streets of cites the likes of Paris and Rhome. We love the central American rain forests as well as the Islands of the Carribean in Particular Jamcia. We love the Netherlands as well as Germany/Austria and England. We love history and curling up in front of a fire with John Grisham novels amoung many other authors. We love to fish for trout in crystal clear mountain streams. We love to eat the finest french cuisine on the rivera. Our interests run similar in so many areas that I could write paragraghs but this is supposed to be about me so I'll try to adhere. Through the years My interst in old cars never waned. I have continued to collect wow! I unfortunately am out of room so
