I always wanted to be a lawyer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were WRONG. I usually put in a twelve to fourteen hour work day. By the time I get home, I am exhausted. I usually mind-numb on the computer, spend time with my grandsons, or walk the dog. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have repsect, communication, and fairness to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My hero is an old-broke down long haired hippie freak...and my closest friend. About thirteen years ago, he literally saved my life. He is a Viet Nam veteran severe physical limitations but gets around better than most able bodied people. My hero has tuaght me self-respect, loyalty, trust, dignity, and many many other things about myself. I feel quite honored to have had this long-haired hippie freak in my life! I have lived in Colorado, England, Texas, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. I was in the USAF for about 8 yrs. I spent a year in Colorado being trained in my career field. About 4 yrs in England, where I had my oldest daughter. The USAF sent me to Texas, I think as punishment for having too much fun in Europe. I met and married my first husband and had two more children. I left Texas because it was a bad marriage and I needed to be closer to home. I spent one LONG year in Maine while my current husband worked as the Post Master in Thomaston, Maine. I returned to Mass in 2008 and don't see myself living any place else in the near future. ...Expand for more
