Kerwin's Story
Life
Since graduating Monmouth Regional High in 1979, I obtained degrees in Engineering, meteorology and chemistry before heading off to study at a theological seminary in Massachusetts. From 1993 to 1995 I was a US Peace Corps volunteer, teaching science at a secondary school in Tanzania. Since then, I've studied physics at Penn State and Florida State Universities. Currently I'm a physics professor at Dillard University in New Orleans, LA.

New Orleans and trashed it completely. She destroyed our house and flooded Dillard Universtiy as well. I fled with my wife, Tonka, to some friends in Baton Rouge for most of Sept. 2005 before being taken in to do some research at the University of Chicago in the Fall 2005 semester. Since January 2006 I've been an Assistant Professor of Physics at Penn State - Harrisburg (Middletown, PA). I really miss the South, so I've been fortunate to spend the last two summers (2006 and '07) teaching and doing research at Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS.
