Keturah's Story
I left Benzie County in the fall of 96 and haven't looked back (other than the first summer vacation). I have come to find that it's a nice place to visit, but I'll never call it home again. I attended MSU for 4 years and have enough credits for a teaching degree but decided that was not my calling in life. I have switched my focus to Business Management. For the last 9.5 years I have worked for Delphi Glass and the past 2.5 years I have been a buyer. I work with over 100 vendors and manage 5000 products. ts for the company. This summer I plan on purchasing some property near Lansing and move a home onto it. I met my boyfriend in January of 06 and we've been living together for 2 years now. He's a member of the Michigan National Guard and works for GM.
Since leaving school I have visited a lot of fun places. I have been whale watching in Maine, swan with sting rays in Grand Cayman and had a blast in Cancun. I've also been to Vegas baby! I would say one of the most memorable experiences I've had was going to Bristol, TN to watch a NASCAR race. What a rush!
