Kevin's Story
Life
A bio eh? Sure, why not. Let's see, a stint in the Air Force, 4 years, had a great time, couldn't wait to get out. Moved to Jax Fl area, working as a tech in a new car dealership, big surprise!
After quitting the dealership about 8 times I opened my own shop. Tried to do as much odd work as possible on cars, old British cars, race cars etc. Started road racing sports cars in 93, managed to get a couple of pro rides including being the lead driver for the Vector factory team, and co-driving a Viper in the 24hrs at Daytona, and the Miami Grand Prix in 1999.
Driving instructor at the Justin Bell driving school, where we teach people competition driving in Vipers. Met a student there who then hired me to drive for him, will be pro racing full time in 2001 for Eagle Industries, based out of Bowling Green Ky. That's the highlights for now. A quick update look for me in the Trans-Am series this year, we will start the season at Sebring in March, all of the races will be...Expand for more
on TV including 3 of them on CBS, cool stuff. KMA4444 at bellsouth net, if you wanna e-mail me. More stuff at mallenalley com.
OK next update, now I'm in Georgia, living in the Atlanta area, have gotten some rides in the American Lemans Series with American Viper Racing, neat race car. The deal in Kentucky fell apart, that was a shame, but it's nice to be out of there. I am working on a way to do more pro racing this year, all I need now is a corporate sponsor.
Still in the Atlanta area now in 2007, have designed and built a new race car, pics at my website mallenalley com. Still doing driving instruction but now with the Sportscar driving experience, the school uses Corvettes, a lot easier car than the Viper was for this task.
The new car is doing well and am currently building the first customer car, good thing too as I had used all of my money and credit to get the prototype done. Look forward to the next coupl of years to see how many of these we can get out.
