Kevin's Story
I always wanted to be a truck driver when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a bad idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. I left Kearney high school in 2001, I went to Madison high school for two months before moving onto Garfield high school. While at Garfield i also attended San Diego community college completing one year of higher education while in high school. After graduating from Garfield I moved to Humboldt county California. ort lived one and two months later I was back in San Diego. I became a commercial heating and air conditioning technician servicing schools around San Diego and Los Angeles as well as the San Diego Airport. I gave up that job to pursue being an over the road truck driver. This set me back 6,000 dollars to get my commercial class A drivers license with the hazardous materials endorsement I did this for the next year and three months visiting 42 of the lower 48 states.
