Kevin's Story
Life
I am married with two sons and a daughter. We enjoy traveling to see family, playing around the eastern seaboard, shooting bows from time to time, and Cub Scouts has consumed most of my time, which is great as I was an Eagle Scout myself.

I grew up in Keller, Texas and graduated at Terra Nova in Pacifica, California. I am now a network engineer living in the Northern Virginia area. I spent 12 years in the Air Force, Holloman, Osan, Lakenheath, and finally the White House, then gracefully departed in search of some local stability.
I have been involved in Archery since 1991 and through the years have come to love and cherish the sport.
Outside of that, I am a Hunter's Education Instructor for the Virginia Game and Inland Fisheries Dept; an Instructor for the International/National Bowhunter Education Program; an NFAA Advanced level instructor, and also teach archery and bowfishing for the Women in the Outdoors and Becoming and Outdoors woman programs.
When I get time to get into the outdoors now, I spend most of it...Expand for more
bowfishing for Stingray on the Cheasapeake. It's a wild ride and as I tell all my first timer's, "You will get wet. You will get excited. You will be exhausted at the end of the day".
School
I grew up in Keller Texas and had to move to California after my sophomore year. That was extremely difficult to do as all my friends I'd grown up with were there. Thankfully I met some awesome friends in California which made the transition easier. I still miss not graduating with those I grew up with, but in the end, that move made my transition into the military much easier, as moving was a given in that profession. School was great, the people were too. And to those teachers...who knew I'd end up in the White House one day. Shocked me too. :)
Military
Had a great time in the Air Force. Everyone should have the opportunity to do military service for a couple of years. Holloman was a tough desert, but OSAN, Lakenheath, and WHCA were incredible assignments. Though I left at 12 years of service and enjoy my job now, I miss the comraderie and work ethics from the military.
