Kevin's Story
I live in the Orkney Islands off the North coast of Scotland -- I've been here since '98, the year I married my wife Tracie. I am stepfather to Calum, Holly and Rory, who are 23, 18 and 17, and have now all grown and left home (or will be leaving in the coming weeks as I write this in August 2009)for work or college. Tracie and I also have a daughter Nell, who is 4 1/2. I live in a town of about 1,800 and I can look out my window and see the ocean and the looming mou...Expand for more
ntains of a neighboring island. It never gets any warmer than about 75 here...I'm not sure I could live through a Texas summer anymore. I work for a grocery wholesaler and have for many years written on the side about music, mostly really old roots stuff. I also sing in what passes for a local blues band. I find it hard to believe it's been almost 30 years since graduation. Except for having the knees of an 80-year old man who won't take them back, I still feel 18...
