Kevin's Story

Life After High School I went right into the Army and have been in the Military ever since. I have lived in Texas, Oklahoma, Korea, Germany, and I am currently in Iraq. I call germany home though and have lived in Western Germany since 2000. Europe is great and I am going to be there until 2008. Skiing in the Alps is undescribeable. I met my wife in Germany and have been married since February 2003. Right now I am a Staff Sergeant. I still Keep in contact with Dennis Flanagan and Eric Rohrer. ks! Don't believe anyone when they say it is a good duty assignment. If you took away the alcohol they'd hate it. After Korea I went to Germany in a town called Idar-Oberstein. I have been there since 2000 and I love it. Germany is one of the best places I could have hoped to be stationed. I still haven't done everything I want to do there. Skiing in the mountains of Europe is un-real. I met my wife in Germany and yes she is American. I am in Iraq right now and hating it. I am one of the guys in the paper that you read about who has been in Iraq a lifetime. 16 months straight actually, whichs translates to a lifetime for anyone who has been there and knows what I am talking about. I am a Staff Sergeant now and I have really enjoyed my military career. I recommend it to anyone.
