Kevin's Story
When I left Chilliwack Sr. I was five foot nothing and probably weighed 100 lbs. I got a job in construction which I stuck with for 8 1/2 years and grew 8 inches after I turned 20. I guess a late growth spurt. I met my wife in 1979 and married her on July 1st, Canada Day in 1980. I had always wanted to be a truck driver and finally followed that dream in 1984. I drove truck for 17 years, some long distance where I went as far as New York and Norfolk Virginia. In 1985 we had our first son who we named Tyrel Clinton Austin Alexander Fraser. I guess we had a thing for long names. In 1987 we had our second son who we named Thomas Kiernan Ashby Fraser. driving truck in 1998 because I was in a bad accident where I broke my neck. After a year and a half off work, I started a position as dispatcher and worked my way up to western operations manager. I had to stop that also because all the desk work and looking down caused intense headaches and was seriously affecting my health. I was off on rehab for another year and then became a Financial Security Advisor for Freedom 55 Financial. Once again the desk work seriously affected my health so I was pensioned off by Worksafe and CPP. So, now, not of my choosing I am retired. I love to write and though I have never tried to publish them, I have written five westerns ranging from 207 pages to 389 pages. I love writing. I am also heavily involved in the church I attend which is Sardis Fellowship Baptist.
I guess that's it.
