Kevin's Story
Life
joined marines in 80 to 84 then on to boston, worked for general dynamics ship building div.,as a crane operator, then back to hawaii, worked at pearl harbor till 88 ,then to here in louisville,ky. drove for a tanker outfit and bought my own truck, parked it then worked for railroad for 5 1/2 yrs,then got old truck refirbished and on road again, leased to G.E. here in louisville,ky and run parts for G.E. to their factorys in all 48 and canada. married 18yrs now 2 real big boys,20 & 18 now, life is good, love what i do, steve is here in ky also. And YES we still have the datsun truck with us and well over 1.4 million miles on it,steve keeps bringin it back to me to fix and it keeps going. half the old cops in town hated that truck, sure others too.
Well, here it is in Dec,2007. Rhonda & I won tickets for Dancing with the Stars, just got back and had a blast!!! We won the tickets through the dance studio we take dance(ballroom) lessons at, we have been dancing for almost 3 yrs now and really have fun with it, you all should at least try it some. g our freedom and yes we are very proud, our youngest is living here in town in his own aprt. and working hard at paying taxes like the rest of us, so mom and dad are dating again and man are we doing it in style. Sailboat racing on Wensdays and whenever there is a race on the week-end on the Ohio River, out on the Lake on other weekends, dancing on Mon & Fri nights. Workplace
By ownin my own Trucking Co. I`m the bookkeeper/treasurer until I drop off the books and recipts at my accountants office, then do my dispatching and quardinate the loads and pick-up/ delivery times, do all my own mechanical work and service/repairs. Do I need any more things to do on the weekends? But seriously, I love what I`ve acomplished and that I do work for myself, don`t think I could ever work for someone else. I have been workin on getting in with a Indy Car race team to run their transporter, I`m in the door and on the list, been sent to Cali. to pick up new tractor and custom trailor twice now, just waitin for the call till then.
