Kevin's Story
Life
Well, lets see where to start. After finishing college at The University of Alabama, I started teaching and coaching at Fultondale High School. I met and married my beautiful wife Dawn in the Spring of 99. We recently celebrated 9 years of marriage and we have two beautiful kids Kolton(6) and Alexis(5). I left Fultondale for Sylacauga where I currently teach k-2 p.e. This is my ninth year here at Sylacauga. We recently built a house and our marriage has survived that. That was truly a stressful event.
I know those of you that really know me are probably thinking how did I get into tennis. Since I have been here, I have coached football, basketball, soccer, track and field, and now tennis. While at Fultondale, I coached football, basketball, and baseball. This marks the first year i haven't coached any sports. the guy that is the head coach here is like a paranoid ***hole and he thought I was going to take his job. Which if he goes 2-8 again , I'll probably get it anyway.
Our son Kolton is obsessed with heavy machinery. He...Expand for more
loves them all. He's mean as a snake and looks as if he may grow into the mold of a hulking offensive lineman. He loves contact. Alexis is such a sweet little girl. She is a ray of sunshine every morning. She looks just like her momma. Kolton, I think takes after me when I was that age.
I want to move up in the coaching ranks to offensive coordinator and then head coach. I have currently applied for our vacant head coaching job. I know there are those of you that probably had me pegged for this from the time I left high school. Look me up in the phone book if you're ever around or just call mom and dad and they'll get you patched through. Mom finally retired and dad is now retired and working harder than what he did in all of his years at Warrior. For the guys that I played football with, remember the little rap that was "written" by a Warrior player before we played them? The one that Coach read to us. Well, Dad was the author of that piece in an attempt to get us fired up. He still does crazy shyt like that all the time.
