Greetings,
Quick Bio:
Moved from Stuttgart (Patch) to Lakeridge Virginia in 1986. Graduated from Woodbridge High in 1990. Graduated from Shenandoah University in 1995. Four days after graduation, I started my HR career at Branscome Paving Co. I've been there ever since. 1998 Tina and I were married. In 2000 I got my Private Investigator license. 2002 we had our first son, Luke. 2004 we bought mom and dad's home. Neat to now live in the home I grew up in since 1986. 2005 we had our second son, Levi.
Today, we give thanks for our many blessings. We home school our boys, remain active in our church, and started our own HUDDLUP family tradition, once a year for a week, we pack it up and plant it on the soft sands of Myrtle Beach.
Things I miss:
about the Patch yesteryears - "K-Street" in Germany at Christmas time, Sitzmarkers & down hill skiing. Coca-cola ...Expand for more
gummy bears, my paper jacket, I think Tony Martucci still has mine! And of course the German bread - mercy that was awesome.
from highschool - whenever I hear Sweet Child O'Mine, I am drawn back to the sticky hot summer days of volley ball with Kirk Peters, Mike Miklich, Ponch, Dan Bermudez, and that mean serve from Mary Jo Ackerman - mercy Mary Jo could play some ball.
from SU - believe it or not, I miss the all night "study" groups with Shep, Christine, Chris, Tina, and yes even Gus at Cork Street Tavern. College went by way to fast...let's do it again!
And of course I miss my friends along the way. God has blessed me with travel and along the way with neat and groovy friends. I leave you with a touching comment my uncle shared at my wedding:
