While I was growing up my family moved approximately every eighteen months. I attended six schools before I graduated from Portales High. Elementary school, for me, was Auga Frea in Santa Fe, NM some school in San Diego, CA, Los Padillas in Albuquerque, NM. Junior High was spent at Moriarty, NM and Encino, NM. After Encino we moved to Porteles where I graduated in 1980. Because of my family life and constant moving I was kind of shy, and as most teenagers, I was somewhat socially retarded. The best thing for me has been going back to my High School reunions, I find my school mates much nicer than I remember and since my social skills have improved immensely I enjoy being around people and socializing. After leaving Portales, New Mexico in 1981 I moved to Wichita, Kansas where I worked for Coleman as a line and floor inspector as I attended Wichita State University where I pursued an Engineering degree. I joined the U.S. Navy in 1983 and trained as an Electronics Technician. While in the Navy I lived in Orlando, Florida and Great Lakes, Illinois. After I left active duty I moved to Washington State where I attended Lynnwood Community College in Lynnwood, Washington, just North of Seattle. Upon graduation from Lynnwood CC I moved to Bellingham, Washington where I attended Western Washington University and received my degree in Business with concentrations in Finance and Marketing and a Minor in Communications. The economy was in the tank in the early 1990¿s. Most of my college friends had trouble finding jobs, as I did.
