Kevin's Story
Left Pal.Park in May of 85' to visit my older sister in Nothern Cali.,her husband was working three weeks out of the month in Chicago and she needed someone to keep her company. Got a part-time job, went to a local community college, less than a year later my sister and brother in law moved to Chicago and i got accepted to a local private college. Decided to stay in Norcal on my own. Graduated from St.Mary's College in 89' with a BS in Business and a Minor in Economics. Was a Financial Planner for three years, had a two-person Legal Services business with a girlfriend for three years (that was fun),almost got married in 95'(but i didn't), spent fifteen years managing a drugstore. Bought a home in a little town called Clyde. From march 2010 till march 2011 i worked six days a week with no overtime, got burnt out, got fired. Unemployment pays my mortgage and cobra, my savings are sufficient to cover for a couple of years. Just flew back to NJ (first class-life is short) for a couple of weeks,hit AC and Seaside Park. In Nov 10' i weighed 211 lbs. when i came back from NJ in June 11' i was rocking 252 lbs. YIKES!! I'm just Chillin ... i've been un...Expand for more
employed for four monthes and i haven't even bothered to get my resume going, i'm in no hurry. I'm thinking about going back to school and learning Korean so i can get a job in Pal Park. What the hell happened there, it used to be such a nice caucasian town. I miss the Pal Park bakery and Donna's Pizza, no legit pizza or bakeries in California. I miss the jersey shore too, water in California is too cold and there are sharks, which i didn't know until someone was eaten at a beach i went to about a dozen times. I've been in earthquakes, Berkely wildfires and shark infested waters, i don't remember those ever being a storyline for an Eight is Enough episode. Weather in Cali is great, San Fran is 30 minutes away and a great city, Tahoe snow is three hours away, Yosemite is four hours and Vegas is a ten hour drive away, Silicon Valley is 45 mins away (i missed the boat getting a job there - twenty five year old milionaires very common.) Well, i apparently have 17,900 characters remaining in my story that i have yet to live. So be good, hope all is well and i will not be upgrading to an all access pass, so i'll never know who read this. The Horror ...
