Kevin's Story

Well 40+ years have come and gone (just like our high school) but life moves forward. I still live in Richardson, Texas just north of Dallas, and I am still practicing law with the dream of retiring in a few years. While trial law is exciting, the practice has changed and at least to me, it is not the gentlemen's profession it once was. Personally, I am an empty nester, last summer my two oldest daughters were married and my third is at RPI in Troy NY studying biomedical engineering and wanting to go to medical school. She LOVES NY so I guess there really is something in the water.
I have been very lucky, all three of my daugheters are wonderful young women despite their handicap of me having to raise them alone since my wife passed away in 2000 but that was then and this is now - life moves forward. And hell, they aren't that screwed up.

o do in retirement - travel interests me and I have picked up golf or at least I call it that, pleople that golf don't call it golf but comedy, who cares I am outside. There may be more but at least right now I will keep an open mind.
Sports wize I am still a Yankees and Giants fan and enjoy a nice glass or two of wine and will share a glass of almost anything with a friend - although most of the time I agree with Miles Raymond from "Sideways" and his thoughts about merlot.
Music just seems to define where we were and where we are. I still listen mostly to "acid rock" 1967 - 1979 stuff do venture beyond that but return to my roots. I enjoy good jazz - Diana Krall for one but when push comes to shove - gimme the Kinks, Starship, and Robin Trower.
I hope whomever reads this finds you happy and enjoying life, family and friends. Take care and live life everyday with the desire to find something wonderful in that day. And raise a glass of wine to old friends with the toast,
