Kevin's Story
After High School I worked for Sears for awhile.
Then I goofed off for awhile. Hung around Youth For Christ. Anyone else remember YFC circa 1970?
I joined the Navy in November 1970 and stayed in for 5 years. I was a TraDevMan (TD2). After I got out of the Navy (March 1976), I went back to Sarasota and got married (to the former Chris Infield) and we had two kids. I managed a convenience store for awhile (Li'l General), then got a job testing circuit boards at Fairchild/Sangamo/Weston/Schlumberger (where EMR used to be). I started going to MJC part-time on the GI Bill.

ola where I went full-time to the University of West Florida. I got a Bachelor of Science degree in System Science (Information Technology) in 1985. Then I got a job in Jacksonville doing programming for a mortgage servicing software company. I am still working at the same place, although the company has changed ownership three times and may soon change hands again.
My son David has now been married to Kim for about 7 years, and I just helped them move into their new house. My daughter Julienne has just graduated from the University of North Florida and has been accepted to join the Peace Corps. Now she just has to learn Arabic to go with her French.
