It all started in Walpole, MA. Some of my fondest memories are of fishing or skating at Allen's Pond, British Bulldog, Killer Hill, Town Forest, Sitting and smoking on the graveyard wall waiting for the bus, Thanksgiving Day Rebel football games, Cumbies, Old Post Rd...and the way the pine tree branches would bend under the weight of the snow. Walpole was awesome! Then in the summer of 1977 my mom said we're moving to Denver. I ended up going to Alameda Jr & Sr for a couple years. We lived in an apt complex at that time and I became friends with kids going to Lakewood HS. After a couple of years mom bought a house in SE Denver just down the street from TJ HS. I went to TJ for my Jr and Sr years but every weekend I'd take the bus to Lakewood to hang out with my friends so I only knew a few TJ people. I did take a lot of pride in going to TJ when we beat Creek in the 1981 state football championship game. One of the best finishes ever! Denver was awesome! After HS I wasn't ...Expand for more
