Left springville in 1977 to live near my sister laurie in muskegon mich,was a nurse aide till 1980.I went to cosmetology schooll basically to spite my mother{lauretta} who did hair for 50 yrs in springville.she said i would not make any money at it.In 1985 I moved to grand Rapids Michigan to manage a hair Salon,There I meet the love of my life Michael{like y'all didnt know i was gay.LMAO}At that time i allso made the life changing decision to join AA and admit i was an alcoholic and drug addict,{allso another who knew.LMAO]In 1987 michael was diagnosed with full blown aids,and i cared for him untill he died in 1989.I then moved to Holland mich,then in 1n1995 moved to Saugatuck mi,an artist colony in southern mich dubbed the Gay capital of the midwest.I opened my own Salon and did very well making mom and Dad proud.Mom passed in 2000 and Dad in 2007.In 2007 my sisters oldest Daughter Amee was diagnosed with breast cancer,she became a survivor in early 2008,two weeks later my sisters son chad was diagnosed with colon and liver cancer.Amonth after that Amee was diagnosed with colon cancer allso.I moved to Grand Haven in 2008 to be c...Expand for more
