Kevin's Story
Life has been an exciting adventure since we all graduated. I enlisted in the Army National Guard March 87, yep before we graduated. I stayed in the ARNG until 1999. As a reservist I started out as a Helicopter mechanic, and finshed up as a rescue helicopter pilot flying UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters. I had various civilian jobs from 88 to 95, from selling electronics at the Goodguys to selling dental insurance. In 1990 my daughter was born and I had to learn to be a parent, which isn't easy. I'm sure a lot of you know that. She turned out to be a wonderful person and I've enjoyed our time together more than words can describe. In 1995 I got hired with the CHP and have been with them ever since. After working the road for a couple of years I got into the Air Operations section and now I'm flying the CHP helicopter out of the Valley Div. air operations unit doing search and rescue missions and loving every minute of it. During a trip down to Fresno to visit a friend in 2000, I met an amazing woman at a party my friend was having. I wasn't a big believer in the love at first site idea, but it happened to us. Very shorly after meeting we started dating and have been together ever since. We got married in 2002.

I can say since high school is I'm always trying new things and trying to better myself. A few years back I started taking acting lessons. My first audition I got cast in a indie movie (the kind that is viewed at a film festival, not a movie theater) and I did several commercials, mostly local stuff. I also did some commercial print work. Modeling was fun, one paticular job was shot down in Manzanillo mexico for a week, very long hours but an awesome time. In 2005 I went to Massage therapy school and became a CMT (certified massage therapist). Also in 2005 I started my photography company "Kevin Antone Photography" Friends always ask me, why Antone? Its my middle name, much easier to remember and to spell. If you like photography, check out my web site KevinAntonePhotography*com The last several years I've really gotten heavily into road biking and I've recently started racing. It all started when I did my first sprint triathlon a few years back. I liked the swimming and biking but HATED the running. So as time went by I dropped the running and swimming and focused only on the biking. Nowadays I try and ride between 80 and 100 miles a week or more. I still compete on triathlon's but as a team with me doing the bike leg.
