Kevin's Story
I graduated from the Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service and then earned a law degree from the Albany Law School, Union University. I was in private practice for five years and then joined the General Counsel’s Office at the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC. My primary client was the Food, Nutrition and Consumer Service. This agency administers all of the Federal nutrition programs. rogram integrity including the transition from paper food stamps to the current electronic debit card system. After 32 years, I retired as Deputy Assistant General Counsel. I have two daughters. My oldest graduated from Virginia Tech, is married and lives in Charleston, SC. She and her husband work in the IT industry. My younger daughter is a second semester senior earning a degree in public health from the Brooks College of Health, University of North Florida in Jacksonville. I left the DC area when I retired in 2017 and now live in south Florida.
