I joined the Army while still in High School and spent my 18th summer in Basic Training, AIT school at Ft Sam Houston and Jump school at Ft. Benning GA. I got out of the army in 1977 and I worked a couple of years in a warehouse loading trucks, to save for college. In 1980 I began school at Harper and Loyola. I worked as a doorman (bouncer) at The Snuggery while in school. I met my wife Tina there when she came in with some girls I knew. When we decided to get married, I dropped out of school and began working at an interconnect phone company.
