Kimberly's Story
Life
I've been working as an optician now since 1989, when I was hired by a former assistant manager of my mother's. She started in the field six months prior. I was diagnosed with a relatively rare eye problem that nearly cost me my eyesight during this time. That is now in remission, but the treatment helped cataracts developed early. I've had cataract surgery on both eyes, now needing glasses only to read.
Mom passed away in 1991, from a very sudden heart problem, complications of a viral infection. Since that time, I've stayed in the career we both shared.

arried in May of 1996. I'm so grateful to have him in my life.
We moved to Montgomery IL, finding the perfect house to raise our family. We have three cats, and in December 2006, we had our miracle join our family. Noelle Julianna was born after ten years of trying for a child, and she's very much welcome. Her first week was a little scary, but she's perfectly fine and healthy, and growing so fast!
Now we're looking forward to the holidays, Noelle's second birthday, and getting together with family and friends.
We're also working on starting our own comic book company, fufilling my childhood dream of writing for a comic book company!
