Kim's Story
Wow my life has changed! I was married to Mark Redd while still a senior in high school. We were married for 3 years before I got wise and left!
Jerry and I have been together for 18 years now. We have two wonderful daugthers, Taylor who will be 14 in a couple weeks. Wonderful artist and straight A student. She starts high school next year which should be interesting to say the least! Our other daughter, Isabelle just turned 6. She is such a joy. She has had many medical issues such as being deaf when she was born. She has had many surgeries and has hearing now! What a blessing. She has severe uncontrolled Epilepsy. That sure keeps us on our toes. She can not be left alone at anytime due to the amount and severity of her seizures. She is in kindergarten this year and has an RN that rides the bus with her (they are the only 2 on the bus!) and ...Expand for more
a CNA in class with her at all times.
Jerry has been deployed a few times, twice in the last 5 years. He came home early from this last deployment due to injuries he received over there. He just had an osteotomy on his leg and will have a knee replacement in about 4 years. He has to have back surgery, but can't until his leg is better. His neck is a nightmare. He will be going before the medical retirement board sometime this year.
I have done a lot since getting out of school. I went to the University of Idaho got a B.S. in Business Management. Currently I am an Arbonne consultant. It's been hard these last few years to find something I could do from home so I can take care of our daughter and I'm also on social security disability due to a car accident 15 years ago.
Anyway, we have had our ups and downs but life for the mots part has been great!
