Kim's Story
Life
After graduation, I worked in the family business for quite some time as well as getting my real estate license and working in property management for a few years. I have a wonderful husband which some of you may remember from school (Louie Lockard, class of 83'). We have 3 beautiful children and are still in Maryland, living in St. Mary's County. Our oldest is 16 (Nick), then we have a 13 year old girl (Samantha) and another son who is 11(Nathan).
I was lucky enough to be a stay at home mom until our youngest son turned 8. I'm now an Instuctional Paraeducator at our k...Expand for more
id's elementary school. I get to work with Kindergarten kids all day and get the summers off with them. :-) I also work with Louie in his business. He's still welding and has started his own welding business (Lou's Welding).
I found out I have a condition called Chiari Malformation. After 4 years of daily, horrible headaches, doctors at Georgetown were finally able to diagnose why. I had to have brain and spinal surgery in April of 2008. I'm feeling great and my headaches seem to have subsided. Life is good! We're even getting out on our Harley quite a bit now. :-)
