Kim's Story
Life
I have been living in Hamburg, Germany and am married to Rudy, a German,for just over 7 years now. We have two children, Christian 4 and Alexandra 2.
Prior to my move to Germany, I lived primaily in Boston and for a couple of years in Fishkill, New York. I worked in Pharmaceutical Sales and prior to this position, I worked in Sales promoting overseas student travel to foreign language teachers. I also spent one year living in Nancy, France where I learned French at the University.
When I first moved to Germany, I taught English in different German companies, learned German and was also the President of the American Women's Club for one year.

ime mom and use what little free time I have to perfect my German so that I have more options when I return to work in the next couple of years.
As a family we enjoy traveling and vacationing in different countries in Europe. I love to hike and ski with Rudy and our son, Christian just learned how to ski this past Winter. Our family's favorite countries to vacation are Norway and Greece.
On the other hand, I miss the USA too sometimes terribly and especially my family there. I miss our 4th of July parades, Halloween (which the Germans have just caught on to but they still have a ways to go),
dunkin donuts coffee and watching Sex in the City without being dubbed over in German!
