Kim's Story
My husband Peter Martin (LHS Class of 1984) have recently opened our own exotic bird store in Studio City. It's called The Perfect Parrot. Google it if you'd like to see photos of the store. This picture was from an article about us in the local paper. The gorgeous girl I'm holding is one of our kids, her name is Lala. No human kids for us, but a lot of feathered ones and 2 wonderful cats. My parents live in SF now, but Pete's mom still live...Expand for more

I worked in Casting for TV & Films for many years. A lot of fun shows like The Simpsons, Party of Five, Home Improvement, and Xena, Warrior Princess. Also some great films like Jurassic Park 3, Hidalgo, and James Dean, An Invented Life. I gave that up a few years ago to work with birds, and have never been happier. We've been married since 1997.
