Kim's Story
Life
Went in the Air Force 1961 to 1965. Was stationed in the Panama Canal Zone for 3 years where I met my first wife. My son was born there. I finished school in the service. Returned March '65 worked at North American Aviation until '68 then McDonald Douglas Torrance till '69 then Emery Air Freight. 1970 left aerospace and hit the road driving Auto Transports (Big Rigs) Went to work at Automobile Transport Company in Gardena April'71 drove truck till '91 then promoted to Gen.Mg. year later Vice President. Have lived in Manhattan Beach since 80. Married first time 18 yrs this time 42. Have son 60yrs old! Grandson, Cole is 16....Expand for more
2 Granddaighters, Katy and Jessie. Sons name is Troy. I was a gearhead in my younger days and a hot rodder, well I still am. I now own a 1966 and 2015 Corvettes and my son and I are "Car Guys" my wife Dixie Henry (Redondo Union High School class of '61) and I love to travel every chance we get. I lost my Dad 20+ years ago, my Mon passed 10+ years ago. My wifes Mom passed years ago and Dad a few years later. December 2006 We became Grandparents when my Son Troy and his Wife Zina live in Chandler AZ. Retired 2011 lost mom in 2011 she was 92 and Dixies dad in 2013 he was 94. Now 2023 Grandson now 16. Loving life and doing well.
