Kim's Story
Life
I was born and grew up in Madison WI until the end of my 8th grade year. I attended Sunnyside Elementary School and then went to East High School. My family was very active in Scouting and I was a charter member of the Capitalaires. We moved to Indianapolis, IN where I attended Northwest High School and the spent the summer in California. I finished High School in Northern Virginia, where I met Bill my best friend, we married about a year after I graduated. We have 3 beautiful daughters. We've lived many places but we have settled in Northern Illinois for the last 25+ years. My husband is a critical care nurse,and currently works in the ER of our local hospital. Currently I am home fulltime taking care of the critters on our small farm. Our oldest daughter Heidi works for Wiscnet through UW-Madison as a budget & policy analyst. nd daughter is a Pharmacy Tech at a hospital near Dekalb and our youngest daughter lives in Rockford and is working on an degree in criminology, she also volunteers at a wildlife rehabilitation center and helped get me involved in this awesome field. Our girls are one of the many joys of our life. We have been very blessed to have a wonderful family that have been a breeze to raise,and great friends. We live on a small farm in Northern Illinos and I finally have the horses I have always wanted. We also have 9 dogs, 4 llamas, ducks, cats, chickens and occasionally orphaned wild animals.
