Kim's Story
Life
I have been employed by the Miami-Dade Police Department for the last 25 1/2 years. I am getting ready to retire after many wonderful years with the department. I have served the community with pride and will miss all the friends and co-workers I will leave behind. But, the time has come for my life to take another change for the better.
We are getting ready to vacate the Miami and Florida areas for a less hurricane prone place to live. We are mountain bound! My husband is a wonderful and funny man that I am dragging away from this insanity and this place. He is such a great sport! Hell, I just look forward to being anywhere but here anymore and so does he! I am way over the traffic, clogged streets and the crime. I am over some other things this town has to offer, but I will refrain from going "there".

tion after I retire. We love travelling all over the place. We look forward to doing alot more of it in the near future. Cruising has become his newest hobby. Finally, but it took alot of convincing on my part to get him on ship. We also have alot of other interests outside of travel and education.
We have 4 kids. Well sort of, they are only cats. That is enough for us. No real kids for this lady. And the big guy in my life is very happy with that too. Lucky for me!
I miss the many wonderful things about our high school days. I miss all of my old friends and often think about the days gone by. Those years helped to shape me into the person that I have become. I am so very thankful for the education (across the board).
Well, enough about me. I just wanted to say hello and give an update as to where I have been and will be in the near future.
