Kim's Story
I think I graduated, but at this age, the thing I miss the most is my mind. After my exit of MICOHI, I attended Calif. Maritime Academy and graduated somehow after surviving the SF Bay area during the mid to late 60's.
After graduating, I spent a lifetime of going to sea on merchant ships and retired in 1995 as skipper for Matson lines. Married in 1970, I can say that I am still at that status with the same patient soul. Time flies when you are having fun....and children t...Expand for more
oo. We have 3 and a few grandkids.
Since my work had me sailing to Hawaii for years, we elected to move to the big island when I retired.
Needless to say, I think I am unemployable at this time, but yet I still don't know what I want to do when I grow up.
I have volunteered teaching sailing to younger folks, and we also have a carnivorous plant nursery. I have had a great life and wish you all the best. Are we there yet? Hope to make the 45th reunion this year. Aloha.
