She has a degree in Fine Art from the University of Florida, with a specialty in Jewelry Construction and Wheel thrown ceramics. Kim is a Nationally known collector and has given a lectures on Vintage Costume Jewelry at the Bi-Annual Vintage Fashion and Costume Jewelry Convention in Rhode Island and other Vintage Jewelry conventions across the United States. Portions of Kimâs personal collection are featured in the âInside the Jewelry Boxâ costume jewelry book series by Ann M. Pitman.
In addition to Kimâs vintage collection, she has created a one of a kind line of vintage collage jewelry ranging from designer bracelets made of vintage components to restrung and designed bakelite charm necklaces. Kimâs original pieces are highly sought after by regional collectors who have recognized them for their quality components, construction and design elements.".
