I always prefer to believe the best of everybody, it saves so much trouble. Don't be yourself - be someone a little nicer. Whatever you are...be a good one. This is your world-- shape it or someone else will. Be careful of those people who only read one book. Change your mind about someone. “I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love.” Evil men do evil things, evil men do good things, but it takes religion for good men to do evil things (courtesy of Gordon Fagan) "Never cry over anything that can't cry over you." (Vittorio de Sica) "People like you are a beacon and your light will never go out, you may not have financial wealth and your life may always seem like a slog with no respite but that is your purpose to lead and refresh and challenge, so never let life drag you under" Said about me, once upon a time... “Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will lie under the stars and listen to your heartbeat, or will stay awake just to watch you sleep... wait for the boy who kisses your forehead, who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats, who holds your hand in front of his friends, who thinks you're just as pretty without makeup on. One who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares and how lucky his is to have you.... The one who turns to his friends and says, 'that's her.'” “H...Expand for more
ave you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain." “We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.” Change your mind about someone. Red is the color of sex and fear and danger and signs that say, Do. Not. Enter. All my favorite things in life. "Sometimes the rules get hard But if somebody left you out on a ledge If somebody pushed you over the edge If somebody loved you and left you for dead You got to hold on to your time till you break Through these times of trouble" "Know me broken by my master, Teach thee a child, love hereafter, Into the flood again, Same old trip it was back then, So I made a big mistake, Try to see it once my way. Drifting body, its sole exertion. Flying, not yet quite the notion. Into the flood again, Same old trip it was back then, So I made a big mistake, Try to see it once my way. Into the flood again, Same old trip it was back then, So I made a big mistake, Try to see it once my way. Am I wrong? Have I run too far to get home Have I gone? left you here alone"".
