Kim's Story
After high school, I attended St. Lawrence and Clarkson and recieived degrees from both in math and engineering. For some reason, unknown to me to this day, I stayed at Clarkson and attended grad school in electrical engineering. After finally accepting the fact that I couldn't stay in school forever, I went to work for IBM, first in Manassas, VA, then in White Plains, NY. I had a great career with IBM, albeit short, since I contracted a chronic illness that eventually sent me on my way to long term disability. The mind wants to keep going, but the body just doesn't want to follow. But it all has worked out just fine. A major change in direction, but I am very happy and refocused what energy I have on church, volunteer work when I can, and enjoying the blessings of wonderful friends.

dge that step in life, which, looking back at the ones I came close to marrying, is a good thing.
I have three children at present - a dog and two cats. My parents moved in with me about 6 years ago. Mom has since passed away. Dad still lives with me and turned 86 last month. We are now living down in South Carolina near Myrtle Beach. Not a bad life :-)
There is a lot more to my "story", but it just hasn't been written yet. It all goes to the mind having all kinds of plans. I just need to get the body to cooperate on a regular basis! I hope to be able to add to my "story" sooner rather than later.
I do enjoy camping and five star hotels. If Dad's health improves a bit and I have someone to stay with him, I will be heading back to my favorite camping spot in the Adks the end of June. The five star hotel will just have to wait....
