Kim's Story
I moved to Hawaii my senior year in high school with my family and graduated from Radford HS in Honolulu.
I joined the Army and enlisted for Ft Hood. I spent three years in the Army. I then went into federal law enforcement as a Special Agent for USDA-OIG, Investigations and my specialty was public corruption investigations. I met my wife Lynell (she is from Montana) in 1980 and we married on July 9, 1982.
We have two children, Chris and Katherine, both are married, I was the Chief of Investigations on the Bill Clinton investigation for the Office of the Independent Counsel, and we brought it to a close, with both the "right" and "left" being annoyed so we probably got it about right. y the U.S. Senate. I retired in Dec of 2009. I am currently an instructor for the Graduate School USA in their national security programs and was a commissioner for the Cook County Sheriff. Retiring in June 2021.
We live in Arlington, TX.. We built a house in Arlington that is not too far from my brother Ron.
My daughter Katherine and her husband, Nick, live in Austin (she is 29) and they have a daughter Madilyn “Madi” Amelia was born in September 2022. My son Chris (he is 32) and his wife Rachel live in Downers Grove, IL , they have a son Smith David who was born in May 2022. In 2022, we went from no grandkids to two.
We have been transferred all over the country but Copperas Cove is still home. My mom passed away but my dad still lives in Cove. I remain a fan of the Cowboys, Longhorns and Cove Bulldogs.
