Kim's Story
Well let's see hard to remember - I went straight from Henderson to GA Tech. Married my husband Greg in 1987 and we are still married today. Graduated in 1988 with an Information and Computer Science Degree. We moved to Covington and I got a job with my current company in 1989. I am a programmer and handle phone support when the client has REALLY messed up. In 1990, had my first daughter then 2 more girls followed. They are now 18, 16, and 9. e girl Maryanne is in 10th grade and an A student. She plays softball and tennis for the school. My youngest is Savannah. She is in the 4th grade and is in the gifted program at school. She also plays softball and is in Girl Scouts. I handle all Girl Scouting for half of Newton County. I work full time in Decatur. My husband owns a Machine Shop and has a Maintenance company. He works pretty much all the time - maybe that is the reason we stay so happily married. Needless to say I am very busy and do not have alot of down time.
