Kim's Story
Life
I am married to a guy from Camden and have one son who is 6. My son is my world. Someone asked me to describe him recently: he has big blue eyes, blond hair and is a flirty little comedian (class clown, and school is boring). He loves swimming, baseball, basketball, fishing, crabbing. We recently went to Destin and he caught crabs with a net and became the local crab celebrity of the beach. Every one had to help him. At kindegarden graduation he said he wanted to be a fisherman when he grows up. I live in Baton Rouge, it was a great place to live; now its full of evacuees and FEMA trailers and traffic nightmares. Dreams of Main Street/West 4th with 2 traffic lights and 5 minutes to get anywhere sounds good, its takes 45 minutes now at some traffic lights. husband is a sales rep. for a company out of New Orleans who sales machines/tools to machine shops. We live just outside of Baton Rouge in a subdivision that actually still has trees, most don't here. We love boiled crawfish and crabs and yes my child cried when he was little to have crawfish and he can now peel them too. I never thought I would have a child that cried for something to eat out of a bug and that I would eat it too. Vehicles - lets see, my husband got a nice company SUV and I am now driving his truck. But the truck is new so I can't complaint too much. We go out with friends and discuss Arkansas vs. LSU and yes we are both still Arkansas fans and will never be LSU fans, ever!!!! My boss tells me we will when our son plays football/baseball for LSU. I have convinced my son he needs to go to UA.
