Kim's Story
Since high school I have become a completely different person. I found my voice. And boy did I learn how to use it. This mouth of mine has got me in more trouble than I can tell you. In the grand scheme of things I have a great life. I work as a Dental Assistant for a Non-Profit organization, helping the working, uninsured. I have been an assistant for the last 16 years, and have been with the clinic for the last 6.5 years. I have a great husband with whom I just celebrated our 10 year anniversary. We have a beautiful 3.5 year old little girl named Emmeline Kylie, who I believe is absolutely brilliant. It hasn't always been peaches and cream. cision I ever made. Now to the worst; my first marriage, lord what a mistake. Not only was he a drug addict, he was also a wife beater. Unfortunately I stayed married to him for 4 years. I was never so happy to try and find a parking spot downtown than the day of my divorce. Hallelujah!!!! Just thought I'd try and catch up with everybody else and see how everyone is doing. I guess I wanted to see how many others of us figured out who we really were after high school, and if anybody else is a completely different person than they thought they were? I wish I had the confidence then that I have now. I wish I had the ability to say what I felt then like I can now. I hope we all learned a lot about being real in our almost *gulp* 20 years out of high school. So here's to rekindling some old friendships and making lots of new ones.
