Life Just a quick bio for those that might be interested ... After obtaining my M.S. in Biostatistics from the U. of Pgh Graduate School of Public Health in December 1982, I accepted a position at Abbott Laboratories (Abbott Park, IL) in their Cancer Diagnostics group. At Abbott, I assisted various researchers in analyzing their data for various types of cancer including colorectal (CEA), prostate (PSA), ovarian (CA 125), breast (CA 15-3), testicular (AFP), pancreatic (CA 19-9) just to name a few after which time submissions and presentations to the FDA were made. Just before starting my position at Abbott Labs I got married in Monroeville to my wonderful husband Rob of 26 years this past May (2009). In the spring of 1994 I left Abbott and started my own statistical consulting corporation (ROB Inc. --> Research Oriented Biostatistics, Inc.) and have been consulting to researchers all over the world but primarily in North American and Europe. In 1996 I began teaching Biostatistics at The Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin Univeristy of Medicine and Science where I am an Adjunct Asst.
