Life
My life has not turned out the way I had thought it would. It's turned out way better than I could have planned. I am a 1-5th grade Reading Interventionist for an elementary school district in Phoenix. Who could believe that I would be teaching? NOt me. Well, that was 10 years ago now. I LOVE my job and working with kids. Especially since I can leave them at 2:30pm!
About 3 years ago I got fed up with my physical fitness, hired a personal trainer, dropped 30 pounds, and now race bicycles for a national womens cycling team. I've earned 3 national titles, 2 state titles, and have found a love for a sport that seemed most u...Expand for more
nlikely. It's taken me places I've never dreamed of, and I've met some of my best friends while racing against them. I also love to take my two dogs hiking around the Phoenix Mountain Preserve. Basically, I'm into anything outdoors as I've just learned to fly fish...although it's kind of boring.
I'm still the quirky smart-ass I was in High Shool. I love to make people laugh. I'm just WAY more driven than I was back then. I still consider myself a child of the 80's and love all that the culture entails.
