Kimberley's Story
Life
Things are good! I live in South Tampa, and work as a Corporate Event Planner for Tech Data. I own a house in carrollwood and my father's in Safety Harbor, both are which rented out. I'm doing weddings and other events on the side as they come along. I still hang out with some Countryside friends, and others I made at USF. Other than that, just spending time with the family, working out, traveling quite a bit around the country for work events and staying social.

School
At Countryside... I stayed pretty busy - Cougarettes all 4 years, Tennis Team, SGA, Senior class VP, President of Key Club and Peer Mediation, Honors Society, Planned tons of Events. I wish I could go back and do it all over being the person that I am now! Im sure Im not the only one that feels that way.. I miss Everyone!
College

eting, Minor in Leadership. Main focus was my business Frat, AKPSi. President for 3 semester and heavily involved all 4 years. I made so many close friends and did everything with those people. Im still very involved with all of them, since I live in the area. I held 7 different Marketing and Event planning internships, which paid off for me; I went right into a wedding and event planning position out of college and started at Tech Data as an Event Planner in Jan 2007.
Workplace
I started at Tampa Palms Golf & CC in May 2004 with Private Events & Weddings. I loved and miss the weddings, I still do them on the side! But I decided I wanted a change in work-lifestyle and ended up at Tech Data doing corporate events, business trips, conventions, incentives trips, etc. I love it! :o) I am also the President of an organization called NACE (Natl Assoc of Catering Execs) comprised of over 160 local hotels, caterers, event planners and suppliers. And finally, I am teaching 3 courses for USF continuing education, inside an Event Planning certificate program they offer. Life is busy, but very good! :)
