Kimberli's Story

Life I am the mother of 4 wonderful grown children that are as crazy as I am, 2 girls and 2 boys. Life was hard in the beginning, a lot of struggles along the way but I chaulk those up as life's lessons. I have been blessed with my family, friends and opportunities. I never imagined all that I have seen, done and have become. I joined the military late in life. I earned my bachelors degree in nursing and now I am a nurse in the US Air Force. I have traveled just about all over the world. I started as an ER nurse and was in the IL ANG. I spent time in the desert and in South America. While in SA, we were on a humanitarian mission in the rain forest. I learned there were more important things in life. We we...Expand for more
re treating people who didn't have much as far as material things but were blessed in many other ways. That experience changed me in a positive way. I will never forget the lessons I learned. I then went active duty and started working in pediatrics. After 3 years there, I became a flight nurse in the Asian/Pacific area. I flew patients from all sorts of places and countries. That was hard on this old body but also rewarding. I am currently living in England. I am working in flight medicine and seeing as much of Europe as possible. I truly believe life is a journey and my journey has been one big adventure. My kids call them, "Mom's Little Adventures" but I call it living. I would love to hear from everyone. Kim
