Kimberly's Story
Life

I, unlike many, think of King City fondly. It's hard to believe that it's been more than 20 years since attending H.S. Some of you remember that I worked at Brays store, Deli and Greyhound Bus station right after graduation. After a very
significant event, I cleaned up my act and moved to Sonoma, CA and got a job as secretary in a Convalecent Hospital. It was there that I was encouraged to attend college and start nursing school. After applying to grants and aid, I started college in 1996 and graduated with my Bachelor's degree in nursing in 1990. I worked REALLY hard, but sailed through college. No, I didn't have much fun. I cleaned up my act remember! I went to a private Christian college in Napa Valley and half in Glendale, CA.
I moved to Modesto, CA after graduating and worked at a hospital there for almost 10 years in labor and delivery. I was married to a paramedic (Mark) in 1993, currently married with three children (6,7 and 12 yrs.) In 1999 we moved to Oregon where th...Expand for more
ere is less crime, more time and less crap that you specifically get from California! We live in a small town that is just about the same size as King City. It's in Eastern Oregon, the town is Hermiston Oregon.
I am working part time and spending a lot of time volunteering at my children's school. It's important to me to keep involved with them, something my parents never did. We live in the country on two acres. Not too big, but small enough to have space. I really enjoy the quiet country life, but, yes it is boring at times. We recently went to CA for a visit to my sister who lives in Southern CA for Christmas. I don't miss that traffic!! My parents sold everything in CA and moved to Arkansas! Go figure! But, they love it.
I would love to hear from anyone. Just get online and look in the white pages for us. We are listed. Hope everyone is doing well and is happy and healthy. I would like to say that if I have ever offended or hurt anyone in the past, I am
unaware of it and I am truly sorry!
Sincerely,
~Kim (Acosta) Johnson
