Kimberly's Story
Life
After graduating in 1980 I moved into my first apartment with my boyfriend throughout high school, Russ Marshall. We married in a big celebration in April 1981.
We had a beautiful baby daughter, Kassandra Kay on July 2, 1982. A few years later after visiting a family member in Sacramento, we loved what we saw and ended up moving there in August of 1986.
Unfortunately Russ and I split up in October 1991 after 10 years of marriage. We shared custody of our daughter but moved on with our lives.
I am now married to Mike Newman (also a Fontana High graduate)and we live here in Sacramento. Mike works for Sacramento ...Expand for more
Housing and Redevelopment for 9 years and I am a Rental Agent (renting houses) for East Sacramento Rentals, (sacrentals.com) for 8 years.
Mike and I spend the summers on the American River (a few blocks away) rafting, long walks on the levees or riding the bike trails. Mike and his fishing buddies are out there several times a week and we like taking the fishing boat out just to cruise the Sacramento River.
We are proud grandparents, me with 1 grandson, and him with 2 grandson's, 2 granddaughters and another grandson on the way.
