Kimberly's Story
I moved to LA to attend UCLA where I received my BA in Psychology. I continued to live in the area, and after a few surprising life "twists", I ended up working full-time in the internet industry and teaching a web development course part-time at UCLA. In 2002, I accepted an offer to head up the Online for Ticketmaster UK and Ireland, so moved to London where I also completed my Masters in Human-Computer Interaction at UCL (University College London). I recently left my last role heading up the User Experience team for the Net-a-porter Group (Net-a-porter.com, Mrporter.com & theoutnet.com) to move back to LA (...so 13 yrs in London) and to join the exec team at a wonderful luxury beauty start-up in W.Hollywood called VioletGrey.
I hope to be able to continue travelling, it is my absolute greatest passion (over 60 countries under my belt)! Think I will focs on Central and Latin America more now :-)
